On 2 January 2025, I flew from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD). This flight marked both the first of the year 2025 and the inaugural use of my British Airways Silver Status. 

I maximised the benefits of my Silver Status by booking the most affordable economy seat available, selecting over-wing exit seats to gain additional legroom. I checked in a 25kg suitcase, took advantage of the Fast Track Security at Heathrow, and accessed the British Airways Galleries lounge during my visit. 

Overall, these added benefits enhanced my travelling experience for a flight that only cost £55.
